Composition of rubber

Rubber products are based on raw rubber and add an appropriate amount of coordination agent.

(2) coordination agent in order to improve and improve the performance of rubber products and add substances called coordination agent. The coordination agent mainly includes curing thorn, filling agent, curing accelerator, plasticizer, anti-senile thorn and foaming agent.

The effect of curing agent is similar to that of curing in thermosetting plastics. It makes the rubber molecular chain form a cross chain, appropriate cross-linking, and become a network structure, so as to improve the mechanical and physical properties of rubber. Common vulcanizing wattle is sulphur and sulphide.

The filling agent is to improve the mechanical properties of rubber, such as strength, hardness, wear resistance and rigidity. The most commonly used fillers are carbon black, as well as textiles, fibers, and even wire or woven metal as a backbone material. Adding filler can also reduce the amount of raw rubber, reduce the cost of rubber.

(3) Other compounds can accelerate the vulcanization process, improve the vulcanization effect; Plasticizer to increase rubber plasticity, improve the molding process performance; Antiaging agent (antioxidant) is to prevent or delay rubber aging, etc.

Characteristics and application of rubber products

Rubber products have the characteristics of high elasticity, high resilience, high strength and high wear resistance. Its elastic modulus is very low, only 1-10mpa, elastic deformation is very large, up to 100% ~ 1000%, with excellent scalability and energy storage ability. In addition, there are good wear resistance, sound insulation, damping and insulation. But rubber heat and cold resistance is poor (in high temperature sticky, in cold brittle), will dissolve in the solvent.

In industry, rubber can be used to make tires, dynamic and static seals, vibration damping and anti-vibration parts, transmission belts, transport belts and pipes, wires, cables and electrical insulation materials and brake parts.
