Mold silicone rubber can only be used after mixing with curing agent, and mold silicone rubber is divided into two types: condensation type and addition type; Condensation type is industrial grade mold silicone rubber, while addition molding is food grade mold silicone rubber. In addition to the different curing agent, the ratio of the two mold silicone rubber is also different. But they are also composed of AB two components, a is silicone rubber and B is curing agent.

Generally speaking, the AB ratio of condensed silicone rubber is 100:3 by weight, and the AB ratio of addition silicone rubber is 1:1 by weight. However, the ratio of condensed silicone rubber is different at different room temperatures because it will be affected by surrounding environmental factors. At 38 ~ 48 ℃, the ratio of condensed silicone rubber is 100:1. At room temperature, its ratio will reach 100:2 ~ 3. At low temperature of 10 ℃, it can reach 100:2 ~ 5. When the temperature is ≤ 5 ℃, the silicone rubber will not solidify.

In addition to mold silicone rubber, some products are not necessarily cured in the ratio of 1:1, such as pad printing silicone rubber and coated silicone rubber. Pad printing silicone rubber is in the ratio of 9:1, while pad printing silicone rubber is in the ratio of 10:1.

In addition, the addition molded silicone rubber is not affected by environmental factors, because it can be cured at room temperature or heated, but heated curing is not recommended when time allows. Although it can shorten the curing time, it will more or less affect the performance of the molded silicone rubber mold.
