Hardware wrapping is to wrap the hardware with silicone rubber or partially wrap it for high-temperature vulcanization. During the whole vulcanization process, it is most difficult to control the offset of other parts except the silicone part. Therefore, for silicone product manufacturers, positioning standards are required for products such as hardware wrapping and nylon wrapping. Generally, positioning positions can be divided into several methods.

1. When the mold structure is complex, three layers of templates can be opened. Now, vulcanize the rubber at the bottom of the silica gel and the middle mold to place the hardware to form a positioning slot for placing the hardware. After placing the hardware inside and finally removing the middle layer template, the effect of internal hardware wrapping can be achieved. However, this method is not feasible for small products! Generally, they are the methods that can be used for larger products

2. For the double-layer plate, if there is no requirement on the appearance, you can choose to add several positioning pins in the middle of the mold, place the hardware in the positioning while placing the inner rubber, and then place the last layer of rubber and template. The products will not be offset. This method can be used for long or round hardware.

3. The hardware parts are relatively small, but the margin of the silicone part is relatively large, so the hardware parts can be directly wrapped manually for direct molding. This method is not easy to offset the hardware parts for products with good positioning. In general, the deviation and leakage of hardware is the biggest difficulty of hardware coated products. Generally, we can solve and improve it in several ways. Excessive pressure on the machine may lead to hardware deviation, It is necessary to focus on control when placing the rubber by personnel! The temperature should be controlled within a certain range. In short, there are many difficulties in any process for silicone rubber products, and repeated proofing and running in are required!
