However, although silica gel molds are good, they should also pay attention to some use skills and precautions.

When the silica gel cake mold is used for the first time, a layer of butter can be smeared on the mold to prolong the service life of the mold. In addition, although the silicone mold is resistant to high temperature, do not directly contact the open fire or heat source. The silica gel mold is different from the traditional metal mold, and the baking time should be adjusted. When cleaning the silicone mold, do not use steel wire balls or metal cleaning products to clean the mold to prevent damage to the mold.

Maintenance of silicone mold

1. Silica gel mould shall be cleaned in time after use, but do not wash it with cold water immediately. It can be cleaned after cooling, which can prolong the service life.

2. When cleaning, you can use hot water with diluted food detergent, or put it into the dishwasher for cleaning. Do not use corrosive detergent or foam for cleaning.

3. Make sure that the silica gel mold is completely dry before each use and storage. The silica gel mold is easy to absorb dust due to static electricity. If it is not used for a long time, please store it in a paper box in a cool place.

4. During baking, the silica gel mold shall be separately opened on the flat baking pan. Do not dry bake the mold. For example, if you have a six mold, you can only fill three molds. Please fill the other three empty molds with water.

5. The cake silicone mold can only be used in ovens, ovens and microwave ovens. It must not be directly used on gas or electricity, or directly above the heating plate or under the barbecue. When baking is completed, place the baked products on the grid to be cooled until they are completely cold.

Although silicone mold has many advantages, it is not absolute. Therefore, it should be noted that although the silicone mold has good temperature resistance, it should not directly contact with open flames and heat sources; Silicone products have good elasticity and are not easy to deform, but they cannot be pulled up excessively. At the same time, contact with sharp tools and scratches on one side should be avoided. Pay attention to these aspects, and it is more likely that our silicone mold will have a longer service life.
