Ceramic silicone rubber is a new type of polymer refractory, which is widely used in wire and cable industry. In particular, it has opened up a new idea and method for the manufacture of fire-resistant wires and cables, which will greatly reduce the cost compared with the traditional fire-resistant cables.

Ceramic silicone rubber has excellent fire-proof, flame-retardant, low smoke, non-toxic and other characteristics. The extrusion process is simple. The residue after combustion is a hard ceramic shell. The hard shell does not melt and drip in the fire environment. It can pass GB / t19216 21-2003 stipulates that under the temperature of 950 ℃ - 1000 ℃, it is subject to fire for 90min and cooled for 15min. The line integrity test is applicable to any place requiring fire prevention, and plays a solid protective role in ensuring smooth power transmission in case of fire.

Ceramic silicone rubber products have no special requirements for equipment and simple processing technology. Production can be realized by using traditional silicone rubber processing equipment. Compared with the current production technology of fire-resistant wires and cables, it has higher production efficiency, can reduce production energy consumption and save cost.

Processing technology:

1. The processing technology is the same as that of ordinary silicone rubber: sulfur addition → extrusion → vulcanization. This material can also be vulcanized by irradiation;

2. Vulcanizing agent: Double - two four, with the addition amount of 1% - 2% of the compound;

3. Before adding the vulcanizing agent, the ceramic silicone rubber needs to be turned on the double roll open mixer until it is soft to eliminate the structural effect. After adding the double 24, it can be evenly turned into a sheet for extrusion;

4. The vulcanization temperature is 150-300 ℃, which shall be adjusted according to the production equipment, extrusion speed and cable specification.
