How much do you know about condensed liquid silicone rubber?
Condensed silicone is a non food grade silicone used in industrial manufacturing. Due to the characteristics of silicone itself, it has great production advantages in the silicone industry. Condensed silicone is a two-component liquid silicone, with component A being the liquid silicone and component B being the silicone curing agent.
Application of condensed silicone rubber:
1. Condensed silicone is widely used in the production of silicone molds. Compared with resin molds, PVC molds, iron molds, aluminum molds, etc., silicone molds have the advantages of good elasticity, easy demolding, and no damage to the original mold structure. Especially for products with complex patterns and structural patterns, the replication effect of silicone molds is incomparable to any other material mold, which can perfectly replicate fine veins without defects. So this type of silicone used for this purpose is called condensation type mold silicone. Condensation type mold silicone is suitable for molding products such as resins, ceramics, plastics, gypsum, cement, PU, shoe molds, soap, candles, bronze products, etc.
2. Condensed silicone gel is also used in the production of silicone pad printing heads, known as pad printing silicone gel. The pad printing heads produced are free of impurities and easy to apply oil. Due to the elasticity of silicone gel after curing, the printed graphic and text effects are very good.
3. Condensed silicone can also be used for sealing electronic components, known as electronic sealing silicone, which plays a role in waterproofing, moisture-proof, dustproof, earthquake resistant, corrosion-resistant, anti-aging, thermal conductivity and heat dissipation, conductivity or insulation, anti-static, etc.
The ratio of condensed silicone gel is generally 100:5. By mixing silicone gel and curing agent in proportion, a silicone elastomer will be obtained after curing. The operation time and curing time can be adjusted according to customer requirements.
