The temperature change is crucial for the vulcanization process, and the vulcanization time in cold and high temperature regions is completely different, with obvious speed. There are two types of vulcanization methods, greenhouse vulcanization and heating vulcanization. Room temperature vulcanization is the natural vulcanization process of flattened silicone gel at room temperature; Heating vulcanization accelerates the vulcanization process of liquid silicone gel by raising the temperature after leveling, and the difference between the two methods lies in the temperature change.
Greenhouse vulcanization is also divided into regional types. The greenhouse temperature in cold regions is still very low, and the vulcanization process will be long. Therefore, quick drying agents can be added to accelerate the vulcanization time (control the amount of quick drying agents). Areas with high temperatures are basically unaffected by climate, with little difference in indoor and outdoor temperatures, and normal vulcanization time.
It is recommended that customers use room temperature vulcanization during winter, preferably during the day. If heating vulcanization is used, climate change has little effect on the vulcanization of mold silicone. Heating vulcanization can control the temperature to increase the vulcanization speed, but it is important to control the temperature not too high.
