Firstly, in terms of color and odor, generally speaking, qualified mold liquid silicone has a certain degree of glossiness. If it appears dark, the quality will be poor, and qualified liquid silicone has no odor. Poor quality silicone will have a strong pungent odor.
Secondly, by observing whether there are impurities or powder particles settling at the bottom of the purchased liquid silicone gel, impurities are generally caused by inadequate filtration. If there are many powder particles settling at the bottom, the silicone mold made will not be durable and will affect the number of mold flips.
Finally, judging from the performance after curing, qualified silicone gel has good tear and tensile resistance, as well as good elasticity, and will not be easily damaged by pulling, while inferior silicone gel is different.
