What is the best silicone mold opening technology for decrypting molds

At present, there are two common ways to open silicone molds, namely brush mold and injection mold. Brush mold brushes liquid silicone onto the mother mold, while injection mold directly pours liquid silicone onto the mother mold. Which of these two mold opening methods is better?


We usually decide which mold opening method to choose based on the shape and surface pattern of the mother mold. For complex and fine surface patterns, we usually choose the brush mold opening method, while for simple surface patterns, we can directly use the injection mold opening method.
 Additionally, it should be noted that injection molds are generally made of silicone with moderate hardness, as this makes demolding easier and does not damage the mother mold inside the silicone mold during mold opening.

1、 Operation steps for injection mold opening method:
Step 1: Accurately weigh the ratio of adhesive A to adhesive B according to the ratio provided by the liquid silicone manufacturer.
Step 2: Mix adhesive A and adhesive B thoroughly and stir evenly.
Step 3: Place the stirred silica gel into a vacuum machine and evacuate the air bubbles for treatment.
Step 4: Pour the evacuated liquid silicone gel onto the mold and wait for it to solidify and open the mold.

2、 Steps for operating the brush mold opening method:
Step 1: Brush a layer of silicone on the mold seed first, and make sure to brush the first layer in place.
Step 2: Apply a layer of gauze or fiberglass cloth.
Step 2: Apply a layer of silicone and wait for it to cure before opening the mold.
