The biggest quality requirement of silicone keys is that they will not break. In daily application, there will be a certain probability of cracking. There are many reasons. Generally, the defects of silicone keys manufacturers mostly occur in silicone rubber miscellaneous parts. Of course, there will also be cracking defects in the production of silicone keys. In addition, silicone keys are also known as: silicone keys, silicone keys, silicone keys, silicone rubber keys, silicon keys. There are six major reasons for the occurrence of poor fracture:

1、 High temperature during molding

The silicone key will become brittle if the temperature is too high during molding. It is easy to crack and be bad after demoulding. Just reduce the molding temperature appropriately.

2、 Incomplete vulcanization of silicone keys

When the mold temperature of silicone key molding is too low or the vulcanization time is too short, the product will cling to the mold and is not easy to demould, so it is easy to cause cracking. It can be solved by appropriately increasing the mold temperature or prolonging the vulcanization time.

3、 The surface of silicone key forming die is too rough or dirt accumulates

The mold cavity with rough surface or accumulated dirt is not conducive to demoulding, and the mold that is not easy to demould is easy to break, so the mold needs to be cleaned or electroplated;

4、 Incorrect operation during demoulding

When demoulding, many mold masters do not receive professional training or work carelessly. If they do not demould according to strict operation instructions, the silicone keys will be broken. This requires professional operation skill training for operators or strict operation system.

5、 The release degree of silicone key is not good when lifting the mold

If the product breaks in the process of lifting the mold, it is necessary to spray an appropriate amount of release agent on the surface of the mold before continuing production;

6、 The key silicone used is too poor

Some factories blindly reduce costs and use inferior silica gel raw materials for keys, resulting in poor quality of silica gel keys, poor rubber, poor toughness and memory rupture, which is very normal. To solve this problem, we need to replace the better key silicone.
