How to Select Raw Materials for Silicone Tableware

1. Environmental protection requirements: silicone tableware products should meet the corresponding international environmental protection requirements, such as REACH, RoHS, halogen, LFGB or FDA

2. Material property requirements: high yellow and tasteless bridging agent (vulcanizing agent) or platinum bridging agent (platinum vulcanizing agent) (selected according to different customer requirements), color masterbatch that can withstand high temperature, primer that can withstand secondary vulcanization and baking (silica gel coated products can be used), vapor phase silicone rubber that can meet environmental requirements, especially when using silicone rubber mold release agent, should be particularly careful, otherwise it will not meet the food level testing requirements;

3. Process requirements: For the sake of environmental protection and safety, all silicone rubber tableware products should undergo secondary sulfur addition under the condition of hot air flow at a temperature of 180 ℃ - 200 ℃ for 2-4 hours. If the platinum bridging agent is selected for vulcanization molding, the secondary sulfur addition time can be appropriately shortened when it is determined that it can pass the LFGB or FDA.
