Adhesive silicone does not need to be made into a fixed shape, as long as the silicone is applied to the surface to be bonded using a dispensing machine or manually, and after curing, the adhesive function can be achieved. Liquid silicone with low viscosity that can be self defoaming can be directly poured into the product for curing and molding. For those that cannot be self defoaming, vacuum should be pumped to remove the bubbles before sealing. Some sealing liquid silicone requires high temperature heating to cure.

The mold is formed using liquid silicone, which can be divided into brush mold and pouring mold. The operation of pouring mold is similar to that of sealing silicone, but a simple mold needs to be made first, and then the silicone is poured in. Brushing is the process of removing liquid silicone from the mold and then brushing it onto the mother mold, waiting for it to solidify. The liquid silicone molding process for silicone products is relatively complex, mainly because silicone products generally require physical properties, resulting in high viscosity of the liquid silicone used and difficulty in processing and molding. Most silicone products will use additive liquid silicone, and curing requires heating. Before forming silicone products, a silicone mold is required. The vacuum pumped liquid silicone is poured into the mold, and then heated and solidified to form. For high viscosity liquid silicone, an injection molding machine is required for injection molding.
