Liquid silicone diluent

When we use liquid silicone to make mold silicone, pad printing silicone, and human silicone, we may feel that the liquid silicone used will be too hard and not suitable for the required hardness. At this point, we need a liquid silicone diluent. So what is the liquid silicone diluent?

Liquid silicone diluent is commonly referred to as silicone oil, also known as dimethyl silicone oil. It has excellent resistance to high temperature, low temperature, and oxidation. Low viscosity coefficient and good electrical insulation performance. In addition, it also has good transparency, low surface tension, and good hydrophobicity and moisture resistance.

The common viscosity is 100 viscosity, which is a highly transparent, colorless, and odorless liquid. Its main uses include:

1. Diluted AB dual component liquid silicone, commonly used for condensed silicone, additive silicone, and pad printing silicone.

2. Make a release agent. It can be applied to rubber processing, plastic molding, metal casting, broken glass products, fibers, papermaking, food, and other aspects, with strong demolding ability, non-toxic, colorless, and odorless characteristics.

3. Used as an defoamer. Currently, Z is a widely used defoamer with strong defoaming ability, non volatility, and stable chemical properties. Widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, printing and dyeing, coatings, pharmaceuticals, fermentation, and other fields.

4. As a surface treatment agent. Apply about 10% solution or lotion on the surface of glass, ceramics and metal, and then heat treat at 150~300 ℃ to form a long-lasting waterproof, toxic and insulating film.

5. As an additive. Adding a small amount of this product to materials such as coatings, rubber, paraffin, and resin can significantly improve their waterproofing, brightness, oxidation resistance, and processing performance.
