How to solve the problem of liquid silicone vulcanization?

Some customers ask why liquid silicone also needs to be vulcanized, does sulfur need to be used? The answer is no, sulfur is not needed. Sulfurization is only achieved by natural rubber vulcanization, which requires sulfur. It is commonly referred to as curing, and liquid silicone should be called cured normally. How to solve the problem of liquid silicone vulcanization?

There are two main problems encountered during liquid silicone vulcanization:

One type is that it is found to have become a solid before vulcanization and cannot be reused. This often occurs on single component liquid silicone, mainly because the condensed single component liquid silicone is not properly sealed and solidifies when exposed to water vapor in the air, or the added liquid silicone is not stored at lower temperatures or left for too long, leading to early curing.

The second type is that it cannot be cured. The reason why condensed liquid silicone cannot be cured may be because the curing dose is too low or the curing agent evaporates after being left for too long. The reason why the added liquid silicone rubber cannot be cured may be that Catalyst poisoning or curing temperature is insufficient. If Catalyst poisoning occurs, Vaseline and other materials can be applied at the contact.
