How is the silicone sealing strip made?
The primary operator adds a curing agent to the rubber according to the formula requirements, and then puts the silicone into the rubber mixer, stirring and cutting it into strips, with a width generally not exceeding the inlet width of the extruder. When the extruder starts, open the cooling water valve to allow the rubber strip to naturally enter the extrusion cylinder from the forced supply device, and move the rubber strip to the direction of the machine head through a rotating screw. During the movement process, control the composite data within the temperature planning required by the process (adjust the switch of the cooling water valve) to compress and plasticize it. Due to the action of the screw, the compound has a tight kneading effect during the processing, which combines the product structure with each other, adds density, stabilizes flow, and improves the product quality of the silicone sealing strip.
