However, because medical silicone tubing and food grade silicone tubing are used in the pharmaceutical industry, there may be special requirements for certain aspects of food grade delivery hoses in different situations.

1. Some medical silicone hoses and imported sanitary grade hoses need to be disinfected with alcohol before use, so pharmaceutical silicone hoses need to have alcohol resistance requirements. If ozone is used for disinfection, then this sanitary grade silicone hose needs to have the ability to withstand a certain amount of ozone.

2. Some medical silicone tubes and imported sanitary grade hoses require the use of liquid medicine, which has a certain degree of acidity and alkalinity. Therefore, silicone woven steel wire hoses are required to have acid and alkaline resistance.

Food grade silicone hoses are not suitable for use with strong acids, alkalis, and organic solvents such as high concentrations of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, nitric acid, lubricating oil, silicone oil, mineral oil, engine oil, gasoline, diesel, hydraulic oil, carbon tetrachloride, and high concentrations of ozone。
