How to check if the silicone defoamer has been diluted?
If organic silicon is diluted, there are usually several things: petroleum solvents, toluene, and water-soluble ones can be diluted with water. Generally speaking, pure organosilicon products have a slight and irritating odor of polyether. If you smell gasoline or toluene, it can be considered diluted. If it is uncertain, then test a certain amount of volatile matter, weigh it, place it in a heat-resistant container, heat it to 150 degrees, and bake for half an hour to one hour. If the tested volatile matter is greater than 5%, it can be considered diluted.
