1、 Inverted mold is a type of prosthesis made of silicone material based on the face of the person to be molded; Through these prostheses, real people can reduce the requirements for CG special effects and make scene shooting more realistic; In order to bring actors closer to their characters, it is necessary to change their external image. The way we move and our appearance depend entirely on the structure of our bodies, which is the structure of our bones. So the real person casting is the casting of this actor's model. Simply put, it is to use real human organs as molds, then imitate the produced prostheses, and then use them as special effects makeup on the prostheses.
2、 The production process of real person inverted silicone
1. Apply Vaseline to the object to be inverted.
2. Apply silicone gel to the object to be inverted.
3. Apply plaster on silicone gel and divide large objects into several pieces.
4. After the gypsum hardens, leave the object to be molded.
5. Apply Vaseline to the silicone layer. Fix together with gypsum and open the casting port.
6. Add silicone gel with disulfide curing agent and inject it from the casting port.
7. Heat and solidify, peel off gypsum and silicone layer.
8. Repair, polish, beautify, and coat.
Professional reverse molding is operated on a safe basis, both in terms of materials and techniques. However, some non-standard operating methods, such as previous people using plaster to directly contact the skin for mold removal, may cause plaster to adhere to the actor's hair or cause plaster allergies. Alginate is an extract of seaweed that can be ingested (although not edible, it can be used to extract dental molds). So as long as a legitimate team or company is hired to operate the reverse mold, the danger is not significant.
