Practical methods to increase the fluidity of liquid silicone gel

Generally speaking, liquid silicone gel can be stored for half a year or a year, but if it exceeds one year, the viscosity of the silicone gel will thicken over time. Expired liquid silicone gel will solidify into a ball like the one shown in the picture, with almost no fluidity, which can be very difficult for us.
Expired liquid silicone gel will have very poor fluidity and almost clump together, causing difficulty in mixing AB gel and uneven filling during injection. If a large amount of silicone oil is added, it will cause a decrease in the tear resistance and toughness of the silicone gel after curing. So, how can we increase the fluidity of liquid silicone gel without affecting its performance?
There is something called an expansion bolt on the market, and you can buy one with a suitable length according to the amount of silicone you have, as shown in the following picture.
After buying it back, we will use pliers to pry open the front opening of the expansion bolt cover into a cross shape, then tighten the nut, tighten it, and a simple mixing head is ready.
Next, clamp the stirring head onto the electric drill and start stirring frantically. After stirring, the silicone gel regained its fluidity again.
The liquid silicone gel that has just been stirred will generate some heat due to friction and molecular motion, and there will be many bubbles. It is not wise to use it immediately. Firstly, it is prone to foaming, and secondly, because the heat itself will accelerate the reaction rate, it is still prone to foaming. Let it cool down for a while before use.
