Experienced people know that silicone molds are divided into two types: addition type silicone and condensation type silicone. The shrinkage rate of condensation type silicone is generally less than or equal to 0.3%, and the shrinkage rate of addition type silicone is generally less than or equal to 0.1%.
 Generally speaking, those with higher hardness have a slightly smaller shrinkage rate than those with lower hardness. Currently, the hardness range of condensed silicone gel on the market is 5A to 35A, and the hardness range of additive silicone gel is 0A to 60A. However, considering the cost, additive silicone gel is more expensive than condensed silicone gel, so the difference between shrinkage rate and cost needs to be balanced when choosing.
