When mixing rubber, the vulcanizing agent and color masterbatch must be added through the open mixer, and then mixed until the pieces are evenly produced. If the mixing is uneven, it may lead to premature vulcanization of silica gel products. If it is over mixed, it may lead to mold sticking of rubber, and even self sulfur of rubber due to high roll temperature during mixing.

When mixing rubber, we should first put the silica gel raw material into the open mixer to make the rubber completely attached to the surface of the roller, then add silica gel vulcanizing agent to mix the rubber mixture and vulcanizing agent evenly, then add silica gel color masterbatch, and then mix the color completely with the rubber mixture evenly.

When mixing rubber, first pay attention to the cleanliness of the workshop. If the machine has mixed rubber of other colors before, the machine should be cleaned before mixing rubber.

During rubber mixing, we need to pay attention that the temperature of rubber mixing roller should not be too high. The rubber mixing temperature should be controlled within 40 ℃ as far as possible. If possible, it is best to add cooling water. If it is found that the temperature is too high and vulcanizing agent has been added, it should be put into use quickly or the whole sheet should be paved on the workbench for cooling. Do not stack directly in blocks, which will easily lead to too high internal temperature of the rubber and vulcanize the rubber.

In addition, during rubber mixing, do not add vulcanizing agent and color masterbatch at the same time, which can easily lead to the color of silica gel color masterbatch attached to the surface of the open mixer, resulting in simultaneous pollution of operators and the machine.

Finally, when the rubber mixing is finished, we should check whether the two sides of the rubber are neat and whether the middle part is smooth. If it does not meet the requirements, we should make three triangular bags for cross mixing.
