Hot stamping silicone board is a material used in industries such as plastic toys, craft gifts, hardware and electronics, and special printing. It uses a silicone plate as a heat carrier to transfer exquisite patterns onto the product. Hot stamping silicone panels come in various colors to choose from, such as red, orange, coffee, etc.
The main use of hot stamping silicone rubber plate is for special high-temperature resistant products, hot stamping plates, hot stamping silicone rubber rollers, heat transfer printing, etc. It has the characteristic of high temperature resistance, can withstand high temperatures of 350-400 ℃, and its hardness can be adjusted according to the customer's printing pattern requirements. Generally, there are different levels of hardness, such as 40A °, 50A °, 60A °, 70A °, 80A °, etc.
The operation method for using hot stamping silicone adhesive board is as follows:
1. Prepare an aluminum, iron, or copper mold that can be closed together, with a 2mm wide exhaust groove surrounding the lower surface of the mold to vent the air from the mold during the pressing process.
2. Clean the mold and apply a layer of release agent, which can be Vaseline or dishwashing detergent. Wait for it to dry before proceeding to the next step.
3. Fill the bottom of the mold with aluminum plates, and a small hole can be made on one of the aluminum plates or polished with coarse paper to enhance the adhesion between the silicone and the aluminum plate. The filled aluminum plate can be multiple pieces, and the one that really works is the one on top. The size of the mold is assumed to be 300 by 300, and the area of the cut silicone and aluminum plates is slightly smaller. Leave a width of 2 centimeters inside the mold so that excess material and air can be discharged to prevent expansion after molding.
4. Cut the silicone board. The size of the silicone board is 1 centimeter smaller than the surrounding area of the aluminum board, because during the pressing process, the silicone will extend like the surrounding area. Then slowly lay the silicone panel onto the aluminum panel from one end, and use a wooden stick to roll and press the silicone panel to expel air, ensuring that there is no air or bubbles between the silicone and aluminum panels, in order to achieve better bonding effect. Finally, place the mold on the molding machine for pressing, and perform 2 to 3 exhausts at the same time. If the molding machine is equipped with a vacuum machine, it can also extract a 30 second vacuum while venting.
