The use of amino silicone oil
1. Used as a fiber finishing agent: The amino groups in amino silicone oil can interact with hydroxyl and carboxyl groups on the fiber surface, forming a very strong orientation and adsorption with the fiber surface, reducing the friction coefficient between fibers and providing a comfortable wearing experience for fiber products. Ammonia in silicone oil is the most important softener for natural fibers such as cotton, linen, silk, and woolen textiles, as well as synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, and polyacrylonitrile. It is an indispensable raw material for high value-added and high functionality of fiber products.
2. Polymer modifier: End amino modified silicone oil reacts with functional groups of organic polymers (thermoplastic resins such as polyamide, polyimide, polyurethane, polyester, and thermosetting resins such as epoxy and phenolic) to introduce siloxane into organic polymers, thereby endowing polymers with new characteristics (improving the flexibility, toughness, and yield of plastics, reducing internal stress, improving low-temperature impact strength without affecting the coating properties of products).
3. Paint additive: Amino silicone oil, as an additive in coatings, can effectively prevent color unevenness and wrinkles, and increase brightness. The polyurethane coating used for decorative panels has low film hardness and is easy to adhere to each other when stacked together. When pulled apart, the wax coating is easily damaged. Adding amino silicone oil can make the coating film have very good anti adhesion.
4. Brightening agent: Adding amino silicone oil to brightening agents for automotive wax, synthetic wood, furniture, leather, etc. can improve durability.
5. Cosmetic additive: Amino silicone oil is an important additive in cosmetics, mainly used in hair care cosmetics such as shampoo, perm, hair repair agents, and hair fixatives.
Adding amino silicone oil to shampoo can make water, surfactants, and other components more easily dispersed, and can give hair a soft touch, easy combing, and luster.
A perm solution composed of sulfur-containing carboxylic acid and amino silicone oil can prevent damage to hair and provide a good tactile sensation after use
6. Release agent: As the internal release agent of plastics, the salt composed of amino silicone oil and higher fatty acids can be used for reaction injection molding of rigid polyurethane foam products with skin.
