After adjusting the weight ratio of the two, mix them evenly in a container and let them stand for 24 hours to solidify.
Liquid silicone can also be adjusted in terms of hardness, which requires the use of silicone oil. After mixing the curing agent with silicone, silicone oil can be added. Adding 1% silicone oil according to the weight ratio can reduce the hardness of the silicone at two points. However, silicone oil should be added according to one's own needs, otherwise it may cause oil leakage or even scrap of the liquid silicone product.
In terms of color, liquid silicone can also be adjusted. At this point, color masterbatch can be used. When adding color masterbatch, you can follow your own feelings because after being modulated by the silicone manufacturer, the color masterbatch will not react chemically with liquid silicone.
Liquids can also be adjusted for viscosity. We can purchase adhesive and add it to liquid silicone to increase viscosity. However, it is usually added to coated silicone because coated silicone generally does not have adhesive properties. Sometimes, manufacturers may increase adhesion according to customer needs, but customers can also purchase adhesive to make silicone that meets their own requirements.
