Analysis of Characteristics of Liquid Silicone Products
Liquid silicone can be separately injected into various shapes and physical properties of pure silicone products through molds, or can be bonded with other materials to form silicone coated components through the liquid silicone encapsulation process. Liquid silicone can be used to package common materials such as PC, TPU, hardware, stainless steel, etc. The full name of liquid silicone rubber (LSR) is injection molded liquid silicone rubber, and the vulcanization equipment is an injection molding machine. The injection molding machine has a very simple process flow (without the need for manual processes such as batching, refining, cutting, and placing in high-temperature glue process, only one worker is needed to pick up the product), high product accuracy (all manual programs before molding are replaced by machines), high output (A/B glue is mixed at a certain temperature for a few seconds to form), and multiple advantages such as saving manpower, electricity, and materials. It can produce all products produced with high-temperature glue.
The characteristics of liquid silicone products:

5. Good chemical resistance, acid and alkali resistance

7. Non conductive, good electrical insulation performance
8. Durable to compression deformation, can restore elasticity even after prolonged compression
In addition to the excellent performance mentioned above, compared with conventional organic elastomers, liquid silicone is also particularly easy to process and manufacture. Liquid silicone has good flowability, so it can be molded, rolled, extruded, or directly cured at room temperature or heating with low energy consumption. Easy processing also means improved production efficiency.
